lyrics
It's sad, but it's true... and you could probably tell: I couldn't be happy with you, feeling sorry for myself. And I knew we were through the afternoon in the car we both sang "Somebody That I Used to Know" a little bit to hard.
We don't like where we're at, but we know better than that. You're a drunk cry for help and I'm in love with myself, but we don't like to admit to it. We hate to say it out loud.
It's sad to accept, but I could certainly see: the past that weighed down your neck burned down your future with me. You must have know it was over, wondering that night; you said, "We're better apart." I said, "You're probably right."
We don't like where we're at, but we know better than that. You're a drunk cry for help and I'm in love with myself, but we don't like to admit to it. We hate to say it out loud.

Perfectly encapsulates the teenage experience. Finding this album while still young and in high school was the best decision I've made in quite awhile. charlesjr

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long.
